This is because the most controversial movie of Vivek’s career will finally hit the big screens on May 24, after the Lok Sabha elections results are announced.
Ever since the announcement of PM Modi Biopic, there was a flood of memes and controversies all over the social media. After Election Commission’s stay on the film’s release, the trailer of the film was taken off YouTube. The film was earlier set to release on April 11, to coincide with the start of polling. But the movie was banned by the Election Commission until the end of elections. The film’s maker said, “As a responsible citizen, we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and given the curiosity and excitement about the film, we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results”.
