Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan to work on a film after Dulhania franchise!

Director Shashank Khaitan and Varun Dhawan are all set to come together for another project after Dulhania franchise. The duo who had previously given us blockbusters like Humpty Sharma ki Dhulhania and Badrinath ki Dulhania are planning to do another film. Shashank who was supposed to star Varun in a spy thriller film, is not happening anymore. As Shashank stated, “ The second half of the spy thriller wasn’t shaping up the way I had anticipated, and I felt if I have nothing new to say, I should not say it”.

But there is nothing to worry about, as Shashank has already prepared another film for the Kalank actor. Yes! The director has simultaneously written another film for Varun. However, the sources told, “ Shashank is currently concentrating on putting together a project which will be in the same space that VD and his films usually are. It’s another commercial entertainer, but not the third part in the Dulhania series. Shashank and Varun are best friends and he has already discussed the whole idea with him. VD has okayed the film which is currently in the scripting stage. Once that’s complete, Shashank, KJo, and Varun will take a call on which film to roll first with-Rannbhoomi or the new one.”

Shashank will also be doing another film with Varun Dhawan titled Ranbhoomi. The film was announced by Dharma Productions as a big war saga.

Ranbhoomi project:

Ranbhoomi will be directed by Shashank himself. The film is expected to hit theatres in 2020. However, there were rumors of speculations that Rannbhoomi had been shelved. But Shashank giving fresh air to this news said, “ Ranbhoomi script is done. The VFX and CG research is going on currently but there’s no timeline to the film yet”. Now, we just can’t wait for this duo to give us other blockbusters like their previous films. Meanwhile, Shashank is seen judging a dance reality show and Varun Dhawan is busy wrapping up the shoot of Remo Dsouza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’.
