URI- The Surgical Strike dominates the box-office, breaks the record of Baahubali 2!

Uri: The Surgical Strike is dominating the box office. Despite the film entering the fourth week at theaters, it is performing way better than new releases. In fact, the Vicky Kaushal starrer has broke the record previously held by the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2. While Baahubali 2’s Hindi version had earned Rs 7.80 crore on day 24, Uri earned Rs 8.71 crore at the box office.
Uri, which is still strongly ruling at the box office, has earned a total of Rs 189.76 crore. It is expected to soon touch the benchmark of Rs 200 crore. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures on Twitter. In one of the tweets, he wrote, “#UriTheSurgicalStrike is winning hearts, setting new benchmarks and rewriting the record books… Inches closer to ₹ 200 cr”.

Vicky Kaushal recently took to his Instagram account and thanked his fans for promoting the dialogue. He posted a photo and captioned it as, “It’s not just a line anymore… I get so many “How’s the Josh?!” videos from you all everyday, each one made with so much love and passion, from schools, colleges, cafes, work places… from people fighting the cold in minus temperatures to people sweating it out in the gym… from conference meetings to marriage ceremonies… from a 92 years old grandmother to a 2 years old kid… from even our Jawaans in the armed forces. It’s not just a line anymore, you all have turned it into an emotion… an emotion so strong and special, I’m going to cherish for life. Thank You everyone. इस प्यार और सम्मान के लिए तहे दिल से शुक्रिया। ❤️🙏”
Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht.
