The news of TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee urf Gopi Bahu being arrested for the murder of a diamond trader started floating recently.
Ms Devoleena was detained after several hours of questioning before she was let go, the police said. Her advocate, Falguni Brahmbhatt, in statement said she has not been arrested, news agency ANI reported.
The police have not revealed her role in the case but hinted that some more women from the entertainment industry may be called for questioning.
