The fight gets Baldy between ‘Bala’ and ‘Ujda Chaman’!

Bollywood has aways been a controversy hub. Be it about peace or rivalry, break ups or patch ups, hate stories or love stories. Adding to these, there’s one more aspect that we would draw your attention to. And that is making of the ‘twin’ films. This happens when two films, of the same concept or subject, are made. Therefore, the most recent films falling into this category, are Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Bala’ and Sunny Singh’s ‘Ujda Chaman”.
After the success of ‘Article 15’ and ‘Dream Girl’, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to take on the box-office with his potential new hit, ‘Bala‘. His upcoming film is supposed to be a mocking black comedy about premature balding. Ayushmann Khurrana is undoubtedly one of the most experimental actors. Every time he takes on a new character he definitely brings justice to it. Be it his role from any of his movies, he is always leaving the audience awestruck with his performance.

Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar will be there in the film, apart from Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, Seema Pahwa and Abhishek Banerjee in major roles. This is Amar Kaushik’s second directorial venture after his debut with the horror-comedy ‘Stree”. Dinesh Vijjan is the producer while, Niren Bhatt is the writer.
On the other hand, Sunny Singh aka Titu from ‘Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety’ is an exceptional actor with very limited roles in his bag. However, his acting skills have grown better with time. Apparently he still has a long way to go. He is playing the lead role in the upcoming flick “Ujda Chaman”
Have a look at the trailer here:
Maanvi Gagroo is making her debut on the big screen with Sunny Singh in Ujda Chaman. Additionally, Saurabh Shukla, Aishwarya Sakhuja and Karishma Sharma will be seen in some important roles. Abhishek Pathak has helmed the movie. While he is also co-producing the film with Kumar Mangat Pathak.
Talking about the movies:
“Bala” and “Ujda Chaman” are clearly portraying the same thing. This means that both these films are about the societal taboo of balding. Certainly, the plot and story are different for both these movies, but their subject will only make you relate them to each other, all the time.
Moreover, the clash of the baldies has already begun. When Sunny Singh starrer “Ujda Chaman” was supposedly set to hit the theatres on November 8, Ayushmann’s “Bala” was scheduled for November 22. But as soon as the news of “Ujda Chaman” broke out to the makers of “Bala”, they decided to release their movie a day before i.e., on November 7, 2019.
While all of this was happening, the makers of “Ujda Chaman” took an indirect jibe by adding “Takle ki Pehli..Aur Asli Film” to their film’s poster.
Indeed, Bollywood has had a history of making twin films and nothing is new for the viewers too. But the point is, both these films are releasing together. Thus, it will definitely have an impact on their box-office business. Let’s see who makes it big at the end!
We wish the teams of both, “Bala” and “Ujda Chaman” very good luck for their film. May both the films wins the hearts of the viewers.
