Tanushree Dutta appeals to Women Commission against Nana Patekar.

Days after her allegation against actor Nana Patekar for inappropriate sexual misconduct, actor-model Tanushree Dutta has now knocked on the doors of the Women Commission in the state of Maharashtra to intervene into the matter.
The complaint demands the taking up of investigative measures into the allegations of harassment that have been levelled against Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya, Sameer Siddiqui, director Rakesh Sarang and several Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party workers.
Confirming the details, Nitin Satpute, Dutta’s lawyer on Monday told ANI,” the complaint has been lodged with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. Tomorrow we are going to move the complaint to the District Officer as per the Sexual Harassment Act Section 9.”
He further said that Tanushree’s statement had not yet been recorded so she would come along with the witnesses for the same the next day and further steps would only be taken after the process is complete.
In her letter to the Commission, Dutta has stated that her complaint be filed for the registration of an FIR under sections 354, 354(A), section 34 and section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Tanushree revealed the before the shooting of the song, she had made it pretty clear that she would strictly steer away from vulgar, lewd or uncomfortable sequences and would under no circumstances perform such steps. However despite this declaration, on day four of the shoot, Nana Patekar’s behaviour took an inappropriate turn.
“He was grabbing my hands and teaching me how to dance,” Dutta had told NDTV, in charges that have since ignited numerous public accusations against men in the media and entertainment industry. Ms. Dutta had also alleged political threats and a “violent attack” by activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena or MNS, after she spoke about the incident 10 years ago.
Despite complaining to the authorities about the mishap, there was no productive action taken against the matter, instead there were and increased number of inappropriate steps and touching by Nana Patekar. Dutta further stated that she was being “forced and pressurised” to do the steps and after she refused, the producer threatened to defame her.
on her way out her car was brutally attacked but wit the help of Police Officials, she was able to get to the Goregaon Police Stationto escape from the plot and record her statement. However many parts of the complaint are said to have been tampered with and there has been omission and deletion of certain narrations.
