Sonia Mann to mark her Bollywood debut with ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’ opposite Himesh Reshammiya

Punjabi songs and singers in Bollywood is not a new thing in the industry. But Pollywood actors making their debut in Bollywood these days has got our attention. In recent times, many Punjabi actors have made their grand Bollywood debuts and their movies did exceptionally well. From Diljit Dosanjh to Jassie Gill, these actors have proved their acting mettle in Bollywood movies such as ‘Soorma’ and ‘Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi’. And recently, Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa has also bagged a role in Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Street Dancer 3’. Now, another Punjabi actress who is all set to make her Bollywood debut is Sonia Mann.
Punjabi actress Sonia Mann who entered Punjabi films with the cult classic ‘Haani‘ has now stepped into B-town. And that is not all she is the leading lady of Bollywood’s popular music director, singer, and actor Himesh Reshammiya. The man has given some of the finest hits to the Hindi music lovers and now, he’s back with a new film titled ‘Happy Hardy and Heer‘.
Sharing the motion poster on social media, Sonia Mann wrote,

The film will be a musical romance and it will see Himesh playing two different characters. The film will be directed by Raka and produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh. Its music will be released on the official YouTube channel of Tips Music. The film has been shot in the Scottish city of Glasgow and it is scheduled for release in September.
While talking to a web portal, Sonia Mann shared her excitement about her B-town debut and said that she needs all the support and best wishes from her people to help her succeed in this new journey.
Sonia Mann suddenly hogged the limelight when she featured as a model in hits like Teeje Week, Choore Wali Baah, Tochan, Difference and more. The actress was also heard saying that she’s happier doing Punjabi videos than films.
Sonia Mann did films like Haani, Bade Changey Ne Mere Yaar Kaminey, Kahin Hai Mera Pyaar (Sonia’s unnoticed Hindi debut), 25 Kille, Motor Mitraan Di and Dr. Chakravarty & D Ante De in South industry.
