Shaheed Udham Singh acted in British Films!!!

Shaheed Udham Singh will always be remembered for his journey to England to get revenge from Britishers for the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which took lives of many innocent people. Completing his revenge, Shadeed Udham Singh assassinated British Michael O’Dwyer in Caxton Hall in London.
Everyone knows his stories of bravery. But very few people know that he also acted in British Movies too, yes he acted in some movies to earn some money while he was staying in England. He acted in two movies, ‘Elephant Boy’ released in 1937 and ‘The Four Feathers’ in 1939. Three years before he shot Michael O’Dwyer .

Roger Perkins, A British writer disclosed this fact in his book “The Amritsar Legacy” written in 1989. He wrote “As Gadar party representatives in London did not possess sufficient funds to sustain themselves. Udham Singh Worked as a non-European supporting actor as ‘Extra’ in two films.”

Udham Singh has sacrificed his life for the nation, but he will always remain alive in the hearts of the people of India for his sacrifices.
