Ranveer Singh welcomes Boman Irani in the 83 Squad

Boman Irani is one of the finest actors of the Bollywood industry. After delivering outstanding performances in films like 3 Idiots, PK, Sanju, Houseful, and Munna Bhai series, Boman Irani will be next seen in Kabir Khan‘s film, 83’. The film is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup which marked the unforgettable victory for team India.
The versatile actor will be seen playing the character of the legendary opening batsman and wicketkeeper, Farokh Engineer, who retired in the year 1975 and became a cricket commentator later. In fact, Farokh Engineer was the only Indian cricket commentator during the 1983 Cricket World Cup. He also said, ‘If India wins the World Cup in 83, it should be declared a national holiday!’
Ranveer Singh is playing the role of the former Indian Cricket team captain, Kapil Dev. The Padmaavat actor shared three pictures with Boman Irani and Kabir Singh. He wrote a beautiful note for Boman Irani welcoming him in the squad.

Talking about Ranveer Singh, he is making every effort to become the hurricane. For this, the actor trained under Kapil Dev himself.
