Pakistani Actress Mehwish Hayat slams Bollywood of plagiarism for Alia Bhatt ‘s ‘Prada’

Alia Bhatt is a firecracker with great acting skills and a personality that carries every character very well. She likes experimenting with herself and as a result, Alia recently launched her Youtube channel, “Aliabe” to experience the life of a vlogger. Also, she also worked with Lamborghini fame, The Doorbeen in her debut music video ‘Prada‘. Alia Bhatt got praised from rapper Badshah, her close friend Karan Johar, and rumored boyfriend Ranbir Singh.
Soon after the song got a lot of praise and became an instant hit, Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat slammed Bollywood of stealing Pakistani songs. She expressed herself by tweeting and referred to Alia’s recent music video ‘Prada’. She claimed that the song has some similarities with Pakistani song ‘Gore Rang Ka Zamana’ from the Pakistani album ‘Vital Signs’.
Check out her tweet:
I find this strange. On the one hand Bollywood vilifies Pakistan at every opportunity they get. On the other, they continue to steal our songs without so much as an acknowledgment. “Copyright violation” and “royalty payments” obviously mean nothing.https://t.co/2x48WIGjf3

The Pakistani actress has pointed out India and it’s celebrities earlier too. When Shah Rukh Khan shared the trailer of his first Netflix series, ‘Bard of Blood’, she reacted to that too. In her tweet, she wrote,
This just vindicates what I have been saying for so long. Another week & yet another anti-Pakistan project. Now can we wake up, smell the coffee & see Bollywood’s agenda for what it is? @iamsrk Be patriotic, nobody is stopping you – just don’t do it at the expense of vilifying us.

The actress has accused Bollywood and the Bollywood celebrities time and again. She never leaves a chance to raise her voice against Hollywood and the Indian film industry portraying Pakistani’s in a negative way. She said, “The way Pakistani people are portrayed in Hollywood and Bollywood has “fuelled the rise of Islamophobia”.
While one of her tweets says, “Bollywood could have used cinema to promote mutual understanding instead of vilifying us as they do. They need to decide which is more important – nationalistic fervor or a peaceful future.”
