Kareena Kapoor Khan spill the beans about her character in ‘Angrezi Medium’

Here is a news for all the Kareena Kapoor Khan fans! Kareena Kapoor Khan is joining the team of Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan starrer ‘Angrezi Medium’.

The film is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Irrfan Khan is back after undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumor for the shoot of Angrezi Medium. The behind-the-scenes pictures of Irrfan on set got people very excited. As for Kareena’s role in the movie, there were rumors stating that she was going to play Irrfan’s wife. But turns out, the actress is all set to play a serious cop in the film.

Spilling the beans about Kareena’s character in the film, producer Dinesh Vijan shares, “Kareena is a great addition to our franchise! Angrezi medium is a very special film, and I’m excited that she’s going to be a part of it. We wanted to introduce this character who would be taken forward in the franchise to come, and she’s perfect for it.”
He further said, “Here she plays a cop, a role she’s actually never done before! We will be shooting in London this June, and it will be great to be back on set with her.”

Recently, in an interview with Rajiv Masand Kareena confirmed that her role in the movie is not a romantic pairing with Irrfan. She said, “It’s a small but interesting part as I just wanted to go out of the comfort zone and do a movie which throws me into a different milieu and I would see how it goes. Whether it’s Homi Adajania or Irrfan and Deepak Dobriyal, its all a different world for me to be a part of.”

Angrezi Medium is being shot in Udaipur. Irrfan is playing a sweet shop owner in the film while Radhika will be seen as his daughter who goes to London for Higher Studies.
