It is no surprise that Bollywood is looking for Punjabi artists these days for some crispiness in their movies. Be it the content from Punjab or the recreated versions of Punjabi songs or using Punjabi singers for their songs, everything goes just in the top of the charts.
After Guru Randhawa, Labh Janjua, Lember Hussainpuri, Daler Mehndi and many more, this time Garry Sandhu has grabbed the attention of Bollywood industry. Garry Sandhu’s chartbuster popular Punjabi number – ‘Yeah Baby’ is recreated for the movie ‘De De Pyaar De’. Titled as Hauli Hauli, the song is sung by Neha Kakkar and Garry Sandhu and remixed by music composer Tanishk Bagchi.
Garry took to his social media handle to announce the release of his song. He captioned, “Yeah baby out now. #HauliHauli from @dedepyaarde”
Ajay Devgan also shared the post on his Instagram handle captioned as, “HauliHauli from @dedepyaarde out now! Link in bio.”
Talking about the song, Tanishk Bagchi said, “Garry is a champ and his ‘Yeah Baby’ is a smashing song. Recreating an already popular song is always a challenge, but I take it positively. I try my best to keep the original feel and vibe of the song intact, while at the same time giving it a fresh treatment and arrangement. I think ‘Hauli Hauli’ is all set to fuel up the dance floors.” Tanishk further added, “Akiv Ali has done a fantastic job with De De Pyar De. The trailer hitting a 50 Million on YouTube is proof what dynamite of a film it’s going to be.”
The electrifying and catchy beats of the song with Bollywood Tadka takes the song to another high which certainly compels us to rock the dance floor.
De De Pyaar De’ stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh.
With the song ‘Hauli Hauli’ Garry Sandhu also made his debut into the Bollywood industry which adds a feather to his cap. We wish to see more of such collaborations from him.
