1. Badhai Ho
Badhaai Ho was a family entertainer directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. The movie stared Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in lead roles. The movie depicted the story of a young man who manages to accept the fact of having a new sibling in his life at the age of late 20’s.
2. Andhadhun
Andhadhun is a mystery-thriller movie, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The movie stared Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in lead roles. The film revolves around a murder, and how a visually challenged piano player becomes a part of this murder. Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of a visually challenged pianist. The movie was highly praised by the viewers.
3. Raazi
Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar was a thriller film. Based on true story of a Kashmiri Girl who was married to a Pakistani officer in order to spy the Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 the movie all-over the box office. Alia Bhatt as the Kashmiri girl and Vicky Kaushal as the Pakistani Officer played the lead roles. The songs of the movie elevated the emotions of Patriotism.
4. Sanju
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju was the biggest hit of the year. Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film stared number of Bollywood actors which includes Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst others. Ranbir Kapoor gave a spectacular performance and shined out bright.
5. Padmavat
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Padmavat captivated the Bollywood industry. The movie was surely Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s toughest work till now. The movie stared Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji is one of the best performances to come out of Bollywood. Deepika Padukone portrayed the character of Rani Padmavati which was her best uptill now. Shahid Kapoor also roared in the movie. His deep eyes look took of our hearts away. The movie ruled the box-office and became favorite of many.
6. Stree
Stree, starred Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as the lead roles, the movie is a horror comedy. The movie saw the excellent work of Rajkummar Rao the new age actor. Stree was a movie enjoyed by everyone. The movie was directed by Amar Kaushik.
7. Padman
Padman, was the story of a man who made access to sanitary napkins in rural India. Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles the movie spotted a place in viewers heart.
8. Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was a combination of bromance and romance. The movie casted Kartik Aryaan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar. The movie had a similar concept from the movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The movie was loved by the youth and was super entertaining.
9. Sui Dhaga- Made In India
Yash Raj Films’ “Sui Dhaaga – Made in India” was a heartwarming story of pride and self reliance. The movie gave the message to bring back the traditional art forms and handicraft in India. The movie became a hit with Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in it.
10. Veere Di Wedding
Veere Di Wedding was a female-driven comedy,with four best friends who reunite after ten years. They work through their issues with family, marriage, feminism, and traditions. The movie by Shashanka Ghosh stared Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania.

Soorma directed by Shaad Ali is a story of the hockey legend Sandeep Singh. It is a biopic that chronicles the life and difficulties faced by the hockey player. The movie stared the famous Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh along with Tapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in the main role. The movie was praised by the audience.
14. Gold
Gold is Reema Kagti’s fictional re-telling of the India’s iconic win at the Olympics. Akshay Kumar as the team manager in the movie, aimed in arranging the country’s first all-Indian hockey team. The movie also stared Mouni Roy and Kunal Kapoor.
15. Simmba
Simmba, the last movie of the year is co-production of Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar. Ranveer Singh,Sara Ali khan and Sonu Sood played the lead roles in the movie. Simmba is a story of a Police officer who changed drastically from a bribe lover to a responsible police officer. The movie was a boom in the Bollywood industry.
