Exclusive: Sargun Mehta turns make-up artist for her upcoming film Surkhi Bindi

This time Sargun Mehta is all set to do make-up on everybody’s face. Confused? Don’t be! We are talking about Sargun Mehta’s upcoming movie ‘Surkhi Bindi’. Surkhi Bindi is an upcoming Punjabi drama film co-written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu. Produced by Shri Narotam Ji Films; it stars Sargun Mehta and Gurnam Bhullar in lead roles.

And if sources are to believed, the story of the movie revolves around her character. The film is a story of how a small-town-girl makes her place in the big world with her makeup talent. Surkhi Bindi was announced in March 2018 and was scheduled to release on 8 March 2019. But the film got postponed due to Jagdeep Sidhu’s busy schedule as he was working in Guddiyan Patole, Shadaa, and Nikka Zaildar 3.
Earlier, the film was supposed to be directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, who has also directed Sidhu’s written Harjeeta and Guddiyan Patole, and star Bhullar and Simi Chahal in lead roles. Later, Vijay Kumar Arora was replaced by Jagdeep Sidhu while Simi Chahal was replaced by Sargun Mehta. The first schedule of principal photography of the film began on 4 April 2019 and finished on 6 May 2019 while the second schedule began in early June 2019.
