Ex-Roadie Tej Gill to fly with ‘Kargil Girl’ Janhvi Kapoor in upcoming flick!

Roadies is a show that opens doors to fame for some of its talented contestants. It works as a stepping stone for many aspiring artists. Tej Gill is one of the lucky contestants. Wondering why are we calling him lucky? Well, it’s because he has got a ticket to Bollywood. Yupp! Tej Gill is roped in with Janhvi Kapoor for ‘Kargil Girl’.
The reality show gave a kick to Tej’s modeling career. But, he didn’t get the role just like that, he went through a number of auditions to grab a role in this film. Reportedly, Tej is playing a pivotal role in the film.
About the film:
The film is based on an Indian Air Force Pilot, Gunjan Saxena. Jahnvi Kapoor is playing the biographical role of the first-ever Indian lady to fly into the combat zone during the Kargil War, 1999. Jahnvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’ and now is a part of the much-awaited, ‘Dostana 2‘. The shooting of the film ‘Kargil Girl’ had already started in February this year. The director of the film is Sharan Sharma and it is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
The other actors to play important roles in the film are Angad Bedi and Pankaj Tripathi. They are playing the role of Gunjan’s brother and father respectively. The team made an addition to the star cast with Manav Vij and Tejdeep Gill.
Manav Vij is a Pollywood actor and made his Bollywood debut with Udta Punjab in 2016. Vij again impressed the critics and audience through his commendable acting skills in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Andhadun’ in 2018. He is playing the role of a strong-headed officer.
Since the shooting has already started, the actors have shot a few sequences. Although, no photos or videos have been shared by any of the actors as yet. Our eyes can’t wait to see the actors play the roles of armed forces personals in this film.
