The film is based on the Legend Kapil Dev and his cricket team who turned the world upside down in 1983. Do you know why? Yes, you guessed it right! It has some shots of the film and some shots from the original footage of the World Cup as well. The film also features Harrdy Sandhu and Ammy Virk, who are renowned artists of the Punjabi Industry. The cast of the film was seen grooving of Harrdy Sandhu’s Song ‘Kya Baat Ay’.

Working hard for his characters:
Also, as in his previous films, Ranveer has always worked hard to get into his character, be it ‘Alauddin Khilji’ or the ‘Gully Boy’. Well, this is what shows on the screen, and makes us fall in love with his acting skills. We have a little overview of what all he did to get into his characters.
Sultan Alauddin Khilji
When he accepted to play Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, he started reading history. Ranveer also watched such things related to Allauddin Khilji. Khilji turned out to be so cruel that he had to make himself believe that people like Khilji also exist in the world. However, Ranveer was so into his character that in the end, he had to consult a psychiatrist.
Peshwa Bajirao
Playing a Peshwa is a very tough task but the actor did his job brilliantly. He read a lot of stuff provided to him by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Also, he watched a number of Marathi films and practiced to change his tone and make his voice heavier. He left no tables unturned to get into Peshwa Bajirao‘s character. Obviously, he portrayed the character so well that the nation talks about his acting skills until today.
Gully boy-DIVINE
Ranveer revealed that he used all the struggles of his life to play this character. Whether they were struggles of career or relationships. He also learned to rap because he wanted the audience to feel what he is portraying. He convinced Zoya Akhtar to let him sing all the raps himself and for that, he also spent time with DIVINE. And Voila! Ranveer is a fantastic singer now!
Simmba
Ranveer went through very harsh physical training and transformed himself into a beast for this role. It was difficult because he first built his body to play Khilji’s characters and then shrunk into a simple boy for Gully Boy. And, again he transformed his body to a very impressive physical appearance.
Kapil Dev
He similarly prepared to play the role of the former Indian Cricket Captain, Kapil Dev. He spent 10 days in Kapil Dev’s house to learn more about him and his habits. The shooting is still going on and the audience is so excited for 83 the film to come in theatres really soon.
Have a look at there pictures:
This is how Ranveer Singh always nails his characters in his films. He works hard to study his characters in real and adapts as much as possible. This made him earn many of the awards and most of all, his fans and there love.
