Diljit and Badshah to taste the Koffee this sixth season

Indian television’s most favourite host, Karan Johar is back with masaledaar and intensely caffeinated gossips on Star World with the 6th season of his show Koffee with Karan (KWK) this October 21st. Shooting for the famous talk show has begun alrady with celebrities like Jahnvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt among many others posting photographs from the shoot on their social media handles.
It has been rumored, through a source, that this season, the Koffee couch will be graced by one of the most sought after musicians in the Indian Industry, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and rapper Badshah. This is the second time in the “blockbuster” six-seasons of KWK that two powerful musicians of the Industry would be appearing together after composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya was interviewed back in season 2. Before this, the only stars who featured on the show and who are not mainstream Hindi film personalities, have been Shobha De, Richard Gere, Rakhi Sawant among some others.
Diljit Dosanjh rose to fame initially as a regional singer and actor in the Punjabi Film Industry. Then in 2016 he got his first break in Bollywood with the critically acclaimed movie ‘Udta Punjab’ acting opposite Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt. This break got him a great amount of attention from prominent filmmakers for his great and crisp acting chops. He also wen ton to act alongside Anushka Sharma in ‘Phillauri’ which also did good business at the Box-Office. Ever since there has been no looking back or stopping for the crooner.
Badshah on the other hand, gained popularity working with Yo Yo Honey Singh at the very beginning, After splitting from the latter, he acquired critical individual attention with his Haryanvi song ‘Kar Gayi Chull‘ in 2012 which was then incorporated in the 2016 Bollywood film Kapoor & Sons. Since then it has been hits over hits for the Rapper. He has also very recently released his own album, ONE (Original Never Ends).
Badshah and Diljit have collaborated over many songs in the past like Move your Lakk and more recently a reprise of Proper Patola, which was originally released in 2013.
