Brahmastra is a film with a genre that has never been explored in Bollywood till now and it is a trilogy. The longtime rumored couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen for the first time in this film. Since Mouni has just entered Bollywood, she feels lucky to work with the legend, Amitabh Bachchan and actors like Ranbir and Alia in her initial years. Mouni developed a strong bond with Director Ayan Mukherjee. She said-
Ayan has a beautiful mind and is an amazing director. I am very grateful to him that he chose her as one of the characters in his film. It is a dream project and a dream come true for me.
Brahmastra was supposed to release near Christmas 2019 but now the dates have been shifted to 2020. Mouni Roy is currently working on other projects as well. She posted pictures on Instagram while the team wrapped up for ‘Made in China’. ‘Made in China’ is a Rajkumar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer movie. She signed a movie named ‘Bole Chudiyan’ against Nawazuddin Siddiqui but she faced creative differences with the director so she decided to walk out.
