Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh Review: CAC is a breath of freshness Pollywood needs right now!

Pollywood’s one of the much-anticipated movie Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh released this Friday. The movie stars Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta in the lead role and revolves around the story of a girl from Chandigarh who goes to Amritsar and meets an Amritsaria. For those who don’t know, this movie is the remake of a Maratha film by the name of Mumbai Pune Mumbai released in the year 2010. Check out our review below!

While on a trip from Chandigarh to Amritsar to sabotage her own wedding, a girl from Chandigarh (Sargun Mehta) crosses paths with a stranger ( Gippy Grewal), and the two end up spending the day together despite their differences.

Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh is a breath of freshness Pollywood needs right now! It is a story of two individuals who meet unplanned and went onto spend the entire day together. A story of a single day, Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh offers complete family entertainment! The dialogue delivery is on point. The first time on screen couple, Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta steal the show with their chemistry and acting. Rajpal Yadav who made his Pollywood debut with CAC, weaves his magic with hilarious dialogues and unmatchable energy! Dilpreet Dhillon also does justice to his role although he appears on screen for a couple of minutes only! Coming to the music, every song of the film forces us to play it on loop!

Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh Storyline:

(Reet) Sargun Mehta takes a train ride from Chandigarh, without informing her parents, and reaches Amritsar to meet the guy her parents chose to marry her with. She has a clear motive of saying NO to that guy. In a turn of events, Reet comes across Rajveer (Gippy Grewal) to ask for directions to the prospective groom. She finds the place but seeing the doors are locked, she asks the neighbors but in vain. Reet then decides to spend the day in Amritsar and wait for the groom to show up.

She bumps into Gippy Grewal again and asks him directions to the nearest coffee shop. Gippy Grewal offers her a ride instead, and she being new in town, agrees. In the coffee shop, the two debate about their respective hometowns and constantly try to boast about their own city. She is exasperated by his constant chatter, but they share curious chemistry nevertheless. Between all this, they share life secrets, visit a few places, do some shopping!
