Bobby Deol shares experience about the Rough phase of his life!

With his unique and curly hair locks and the flexibility in his roles, Bobby Deol was the heartthrob of the 90s and despite his brilliant performances, he has been counted amongst the underrated actors of B-town. Born into the family of stars, son of Bollywood’s He-Man, Dharmendra, and his first wife, Prakash Kaur, brother of Sunny Deol, Bobby had made his debut as a child actor in his dad’s film, Dharam Veer. From a romantic hero in films like “Barsaat“, “Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya“, to the intense roles in “Gupt: The Hidden Truth“, and comedy in “Chor Machaaye Shor“, Bobby has proved his mettle as an actor at every step of his career.
Bobby Deol has completed a silver jubilee in the industry, and he had his fair share of ups and downs. Despite the nasty trolls he has faced and the negative comments by the media, Bobby is a happy man! He is all set to floor his audience with the film, “Class Of 83’” which premiers on August 21, 2020, on Netflix. While his fans are excited about his upcoming film, Bobby takes us to the rough phase of his life and how he had overcome it.
In an interview with a named Media House, Bobby Deol spoke about the rough phase of his life i.e., a career slump that lasted several years, how he had started pitying himself and had turned to alcohol. Bobby said,
“When you pity yourself, you will start cursing the world around you. That is what happened with me for two-three years. I started pitying myself and thought that no one wants to work with me, so I relied on alcohol. I started numbing myself and then one day I realised where I was wrong when I saw it in my kids’ eyes that our father stays home all day long. I saw the same emotion in my mother and wife’s eyes too, so something in me changed and I realized that if I want to move forward, I cannot wait for someone else to do it, I will have to walk myself. That is when I started working on myself and I have been so busy in the last two-three years.”
Bobby Deol revealed how his star family didn’t back him professionally and the film offers he had received were purely on the basis of his performances. Bobby said,
“There’s no such thing as backing in the industry. Just because my family is from the industry does not mean they have backed me when it comes to work. If that was the case, I would have starred in big films all along. Of course, I am very blessed to be Dharmendra’s son, but I only worked with him in the first film, after that, all the offers that I received or all the films that I did were on the basis of my performances.”
If we talk about Bobby Deol’s personal life, he had seen the love of his life, Tania Ahuja at an Italian café in Mumbai and had lost his heart to her. After Tania had agreed to go on a date with Bobby and love blossomed between them, he had proposed his ladylove at the same café where he had first seen her. In 1996, Bobby and Tania had tied the knot and had embraced parenthood for the first time in 2002 and again in 2004.
Bobby Deol is surely an amazing actor and we would love to see more of him on the silver screens. We wish him luck, and also hope to see more of his work. He is talented and amid all the negativity he has still shown us, how to be a true “Soldier“.
