Angrej Putt: Another child centric Punjabi film announced

Period dramas and big fat Punjabi weddings may be the staple for Punjabi films. But it doesn’t mean that filmmakers are not experimenting with new concepts and not contributing towards the overall growth of Pollywood. Recently, Rubina Bajwa and Harish Verma starrer ‘Munda Hi Chahida’ trailer broke all stereotypes with its concept on parenthood. The film is all about Harish Verma getting pregnant with test tube baby. And after this, now a new child-centric movie ‘Angrej Putt’ has been announced.
A debutante named Arsh Chawla will mark his lead acting debut with Sumit Gulati in the film. Sumit Gulati is famous for his acts in Bollywood film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Baaghi’. Apart from Sumit and Arsh, much Punjabi industry’s big artists like Yograj Singh and others will also be seen playing pivotal roles.
Prominent music director Gurmeet Singh will give the music and background score of the film. While Bollywood Producer Mayyank Sharrma will produce and Shivamm Sharma will direct this family drama caper.

I just hope that we all will be able to do justice to our parts and everything goes well.”
Director of the film, Shivamm Sharma said,
“Angrej Putt is a wonderful script which is extremely close to my heart. Everything is properly planned and even in the pre-production stage, every minute detail has been taken care of. As the shoot is about to begin, we all are prepared and have left no stone unturned in the preparation of the film. I hope people will appreciate our efforts.”
Mayyank Sharrma, the producer of the film quoted,

That is why we thought to invest in the project which is not just a lighthearted film but will also come across as a fresh breeze for the Punjabi Cinema.
