Ammy Virk to fly high with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’

Ammy Virk is a renowned name in the Punjabi industry. The singer-actor has given huge hits like Nikka Zaildar series, Muklawa, Harjeeta, Qismat, and Ardaas. Not just being limited to the Punjabi industry, Ammy Virk has spread his roots to Bollywood as well. The actor is making his Bollywood debut with Kabir Khan’s film 83′ and has bagged another Bollywood flick pretty soon, ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India‘. Yes, you read that right!
Ammy Virk is a part of the super six of Ajay Devgn‘s film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India‘. He will be seen playing a major role in the film. Ammy will feature as a fighter pilot who played a very crucial role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. And the power-packed actor has also started shooting for the film. He recently took to his social media to share the news with his fans. Ammy Virk shared a picture of a clapperboard from the sets of the film in his social media stories.

Abhishek Dudhaiya is the writer and director of the war based film on the Indo-Pak war of 1971. While Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, Abhishek Dudhaiya and Kumar Mangat Pathak are jointly producing the film.
The film celebrates the courage of the 300 women of Madhapur in Gujarat, who played a pivotal part in India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The story is about all these women who came together to repair the only runway in Bhuj that was destroyed during the war.
‘Bhuj: The Pride of India‘ is a multi-starrer film and Ajay Devgn is already leading the film as Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. The makers of the film are trying to unfold a very crucial real-life chapter from the history books to the cinema. Other than Ajay Devgn and Ammy Virk, the film also features Sanjay Dutt as a civilian named Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari. Sonakshi Sinha is playing a social worker, Sunderben Jetha Madharparya. Parineeti Chopra essays the role of femme fatale Heena Rehman whereas Rana Duggubati plays the role of Madras regiment Lt. Colonel.
And these six actors are the super six of ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India‘. We are really looking forward to unraveling this historic incident in the theatres. The release date of the film is not known yet.
