On Eid 2020, Salman Khan was set to entertain audiences with his much-awaited offering Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, helmed by Prabhudheva. However, the film failed to keep its date with theatres due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Though there is no update on the new release date of the action entertainer, some media outlet reports that the superstar is eyeing to drop the film on Christmas 2020. The said date is, however, currently reserved for Aamir Khan’s hugely anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha.
Sources say Salman and his director Prabhudheva have about 10 days of shooting pending for Radhe. “After the lockdown, the shooting will be completed. In the meanwhile, the post-production is going on,” informs a source to a leading daily.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ may get pushed forward to April 2021 because of its pending shoot. With only 60% of the film shot before the lockdown, the sources suggest that the film may be rescheduled for a 2021 release.
After completing their fourth schedule in Amritsar on March 17, Aamir called off the next stint, in keeping with the cine bodies’ decision to suspend all shoots. Apart from Aamir Khan, Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie is an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks.
As a matter of fact, we are all waiting for the official announcement of both the films about their release date, and whether the films will clash in December?
