After impressing the audience with his performance in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, Kartik Aaryan is back again with his film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. He will be seen playing the role of ‘Chintu Tyagi’ from Lucknow. The film is a remake of a 1978 film with the same name. The old version starred Vidya Sinha, Sanjeev Kumar and Ranjeeta Kaur. The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 6. While everyone is excited for the film, there is a lot of buzz spinning around, for the songs in the film. The newest song, ‘Dilbara‘ is definitely making it to the top charts, which surprisingly, is not a remake.
Listen to the song here:
The song is a love chant for all those dealing with a heartache. The visuals are only making it even more amazing. Kartik looks hot in the video, while his emotional presence is unmissable. The video also holds some glimpse of few shots from the film. The song is a hymn, people ain’t getting over with, anytime soon.
Talking about the other songs from the film, masses have mixed feelings for them. Where the two songs titled ‘Dheeme Dheeme‘ and ‘Ankhiyo Se Goli Maare‘ from ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh‘ are remakes. ‘Dilbara’ has received a positive note from the masses as compared to the previous songs. Dheeme Dheeme which was originally released by Tony Kakkar in May this year, featured the sensational B-Town actress, Neha Sharma, had already been a big hit amidst the music lovers. While the original ‘Ankhiyo Se Goli Maare‘ is a very famous song featuring Govinda and Raveena Tandon from their film, Dulhe Raja (1998).
However, everyone in Bollywood today is swearing by this formula of using re-created versions of already released hits. Which sometimes, back-fires and takes away all the attention that the original song would’ve somehow received. No doubt remade versions are quite peppy and lively, but the essence of an original song is a totally different experience for the listeners.
Certainly, Dilabara‘s release is kind of an eye-opener to all those in the industry, that originals are more loved and appreciated by the masses than that of the recreated versions. Sachet Tandon’s soulful voice has given this song an unseen advantage. The lyrics of the song are penned down by Navi Ferozpurwala while, the music is jointly given by Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra, the film also stars Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role.
