Deepika becomes ‘DRAUPADI’ for Diwali 2021!

Deepika Padukone is said to be one of the most successful leading ladies of Bollywood. After a humongous success of Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone is now working on another periodic film, Mahabharat. She recently wrapped up Chhapaak and ’83, and will now be ruling over the screens as “Draupadi“.

Talking about Mahabharat:

Deepika recently told in an interview that she will not only be playing the lead role, but is also co-producing the film with Manu Mantena. The epic extravaganza unfolds through the eyes of its female protagonist, Draupadi, with Deepika in the lead role. We have all seen Mahabharat a lot many times, but this version on a Female’s end, will create another history. Furthermore, our excitement is raised to another level, to find out about who is going to play the other magnanimous characters of the Mahabharat. The film will be hitting the theatres in Diwali 2021.

However, on the work front, there is no stopping for Deepika Padukone, who was seen in an extremely grand avatar in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. She has worked really hard for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, which is about an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. Also she will be seen opposite her real-life husband, Ranveer Singh in ’83-the film.
