Singer and Rapper Badshah will make a debut in the Hindi version of the Hollywood movie ‘Aladdin’. Yes, it’s true. Disney India has roped in Armaan Malik and Badshah to give a desi touch to the magical story.
Singer Armaan Malik will be lending his voice to the character of Aladdin in the Hindi version. While rapper Badshah will create a promotional song and video for the live adaptation of the Disney classic. Helmed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin stars Will Smith, who plays Genie, Canadian newcomer Mena Massoud as Aladdin and British actress Naomi Scott as Jasmine.
Announcing the news, Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Disney India ropes in Badshah and Armaan Malik for Hindi version #Aladdin. Badshah will create a promotional song and video. Armaan Malik will do the voice over for #Aladdin. #Aladdin releases on 24 May 2019 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.”

Talking about Aladdin’s promotional song and video, Badshah is very excited. He said,
“Aladdin evokes a lot of fond memories for me when I was growing up, and this is a fantastic opportunity for me to not only relive my childhood but also be part of such a big-ticket global adventure. The music video will release soon and I hope my fans embrace and enjoy this new offering from me.”
Aladdin is for sure one of our favorite magical stories. We grew up watching or listening to these magical stories. The animated version of Aladdin was released in 1992 and attained a legendary status amongst its fans.
Armaan Malik feels honored to be given the opportunity to be the voice of Aladdin. He said,
“Aladdin has been one of my favorite films since childhood. Being a musician, my fascination with the movie began with its songs, ‘A whole new world’ being my favorite among all of them. I am really honored to be given the opportunity to be the voice of Aladdin. Along with voicing for the movie, I’m even singing the beautiful songs from the soundtrack as well, and I just can’t wait for all my fans to see my work in the Hindi version.”
The trailer of the film came out in March gave a sneak peek into the miraculous world of Aladdin. The trailer also featured glimpses of the classic song ‘A Whole New World’, which will be a part of the adaptation.

Explaining the thought behind roping in Indian talent, Bikram Duggal, Head — Studio Entertainment, Disney India, said: “At Disney, we love to tell great stories that have a universal appeal. ‘Aladdin’ is one such timeless tale and we all have grown up watching the classic.
“With Badshah and Armaan on board, we aim to make the live-action reach out to a wider audience and forge a deeper connection with existing and new fans across the country.”
The film is slated to release on 24 May in North America and China. And the same day it will be releasing in India in four languages Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
Badshah’s Song ‘Sab Sahi Hai Bro’ from movie Aladdin is released
That special track has finally released today by the makers. Titled ‘Sab Sahi Hai Bro’, it’s a typical Badshah number and is about the friendship. The lyrics of the song truly defines ultimate friendship goals and the music is trippy.
