Big news for all Vivek Oberoi fans out there. Yes, Vivek Oberoi has fans, and they are the happiest people on earth today. You will wonder why? This is because the most controversial movie of Vivek’s career will finally hit the big screens on May 24, after the Lok Sabha elections results are announced.
Ever since the announcement of PM Modi Biopic, there was a flood of memes and controversies all over the social media. After Election Commission’s stay on the film’s release, the trailer of the film was taken off YouTube. The film was earlier set to release on April 11, to coincide with the start of polling. But the movie was banned by the Election Commission until the end of elections. EC stayed the screening, citing a violation of the model code of conduct, saying that its release would interfere with free and fair polling.
The film’s maker said, “As a responsible citizen, we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and given the curiosity and excitement about the film, we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results”.
Vivek Oberoi took to his social media handle to announce this big news. He captioned,
“ताक़त से बड़ी हिम्मत होती है! ना रुकेंगे ना झुकेंगे 🇮🇳 #PMNarendraModi the inspiration, the warrior, the legend! He never gives up and neither do we! Against all opposition, roadblocks, and hurdles we will rise on 24th May to share our dream with you all! #DekhengeModiBiopic”
