Ammy Virk is soon making his Bollywood debut with ’83’ – a movie based on India’s World Cup victory in the year 1983. He will be portraying “Balwinder Singh Sandhu” on the big screen. The actor is currently undergoing training for this role.
Ammy Virk recently met and interviewed with Bollywood’s renown critic Anupama Chopra. The interview is out and here are all the highlights.
When asked the reason of his degree in BSC Biotechnology:
Ammy Virk has done a degree in BSC Biotechnology and when asked the reason for it he very innocently said that he chose this particular course only because his girlfriend was in this. Sweet, isn’t it?
The story about Harmonium:
Ammy Virk bought a harmonium to study n learn music. He left the harmonium at his hostel on a Friday eve before going to his hometown and when he returned on Monday, the harmonium was missing.
When his mother would cry for Ammy loosing weight for his roles:
Ammy Virk had lost around 24-25 kg for his movie Harjeeta. He told us about the incident when his mother would cry over this intense weight loss and would ask him to eat. Much like any other Punjabi mother.. We feel you Ammy!!
His first day at a movie shoot:
Ammy Virk made his movie debut with Amrinder Gill’s Angrej. He told about his experience of being on a film set for the first time. He was very nervous, he forgot his lines because he was not satisfied with clothes he was wearing. But he picked up the very next day and was confident ever after.
On meeting Ranveer Singh:
